A neighbor killed a few rattlebugs (diamond backs) last week.
14 miles in TX makes a big ass difference. These days I am stuck between the East Fork Trinity and Cedar Creek Lake.
I traded black gumbo for sandy loam and diamonds and timbers and those little ankle biters (red and yeller kill a feller). Cottonmouth are everywhere as well, but the fishing is fun and good.
