2012 riots in Ferguson and Baltimore played a large part in getting Trump elected. The BLM/Antifa Tet offensive will help Trump immensely in November.
Obama could call off the riots and anti cop fervor if he felt that it would hurt Biden’s chances. Then as now, the polls indicate a Democrat win so there is no reason to tell the terrorists to stand down.

Democrats’ control is hared with George Soros and progress is not wholly up to the Party. Soros is not a member of he Party. He shares some, perhaps most goals with the Party but could keep the riots going if he chose to after the Democrats called a halt. What he wants is his own wealth to increase to the point where he himself is the actual Director of Planet Earth. Democrats think they can use his influence and money and then jettison him at the appropriate moment but I suspect they cannot.
