To assist the confused who get angry about the color of chess pieces, the white pieces in chess are not the same color as white people. The black pieces in chess are not the same color as black people. They are just the colors used for the pieces in a game, they don’t have anything to do with human racial issues.
No human is the color white OR black.
My husband, mother and I did visit Kenya one Christmas and those native sub-Saharan African people aren't quite black but one can understand why others called them black. They were pretty dark...but NOT black.
Even albinos aren't white-white...lots of pink in their skin and eyes.
So the entire color thing is a myth.
In Japan the color for death is WHITE.

White on the other hand is a popular color in cars in Japan but it inherently denotes death and mourning too. This peaceful color also stands for purity and truth. White is the color of snow, starting on a blank page, going back to the roots and to scorn or treat someone coldly.

But the entire planet knows the color GREEN, as in American GREEN money. And, we are the only country that has all its money mostly the one color.
The $100.00 bill is a good bargaining tool wherever you go, so DON'T believe the LIES about American money not worth a darn.
Lol. When bargaining outside the U.S.A. I would always put a hundred dollar bill on the counter at the get-go. Those tradesmen couldn't TAKE THEIR EYES off the bill. They WANTED that greenback because they KNOW it's worth more than THEIR currency.
And PULEEZE, don't start the "Well, in so-and-so their money was REALLY good." If you believe THAT then you just haven't left the health, wealth, safety and protection of this, the GREATEST country this world has even seen since the times of the Roman Empire.

Since the Empire was founded in 27 BC, that gives us a lifespan of 507 years. However, the Eastern Roman empire, which split off from the Western Roman Empire in the 300s, lasted much longer than that, finally getting conquered and dissolved in 1453.
