I have the DVD. It’s a very dark movie, quite a change of pace for Billy Wilder after “Some Like it Hot.”

I don’t consider it dark at all. Lots of funny scenes plus a happy ending.
Loved the movie.

I watched it a few years ago, probably after it was recommended on FR. I didn’t like it at all; found it quite depressing.
