We do? I didn’t vote for Bush’s re-election in 2004. I didn’t vote for McCain in 2008 or Romney in 2012

The invasion of Iraq turned me against the Republican neocons. Nobody “has “ to vote for endless war in the Middle East.

What we need to do is start up a write-in campaign for Bernie. The radicals are ideologically aligned with him and electing Biden as the safer choice is going to be a disaster.

I spent tens of thousands of dollars on a car and failed to get what I really wanted - a Rolls Royce with all the trimmings. I seldom get disappointed by my votes - I spent no money and minimal effort on getting the incumbent pols elected, apart from maybe 20 minutes dealing with the logistics of getting to and back from a polling station.

You vote because you want to have a say. But it’s really a tiny say. Unless you’re investing a substantial chunk of money on a given pol (i.e. millions or more) don’t get your hopes up. You’ll be happier that way. Take care of you and yours, and let the pols do their worst.
