I have kept an 8 shot 12 gauge pump beside my bed for nearly 30 years.
The more I think about it I think I am mistaken. The shotgun is too powerful for indoors. I think I would be better served with a Ruger 10/22 and a quality 25 round mag. A couple of spares but really doubt the usefulness but why not?
I also don’t see a tactical sling for an indoor shotgun. Just else to get in the way.
my friend is concerned about the effectiveness of a 22 rifle for home defense versus a semi-auto shotgun. beyond that, what are your thoughts on a marlin papoose rifle for home defense, versus a ruger 10/22?
