The Washington Redskins have decided to remove all references of original owner George Preston Marshall, who founded the team in 1933 and owned it until his death in 1969.

Why? The Redskins were the last team in the league to bring in black players, and Marshall was the driving force behind the league's original ban on black players from 1933 to 1945.
