Bubba Wallace loses sponsorship after rage-quitting during NASCAR iRacing event (from Apr 5, 2020)
CBS Sports ^ | Apr 5, 2020 | Pete Blackburn

As the NASCAR season remains suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic, the company and its drivers are trying to keep fans engaged and entertained through virtual means. We're now three weeks into the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, which essentially features a bunch of NASCAR drivers racing one another in a video game simulation, and we found out Sunday that these races can still drum up drama and controversy.

Bubba Wallace was one of the 32 drivers competing in the Food City Showdown at a virtual Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday and he undoubtedly had the worst day of anyone in the field. Not only did Wallace wreck during the 11th lap of the 150-lap race but he was so peeved by it that he wound up "rage-quitting" -- a popular gamer term for a player who gets so angry that they prematurely bow out of the competition.

Wallace's short fuse not only gave him a DQ/DNF in the virtual event but they also proved to have real-life consequences from a business standpoint. Shortly after the incident, Wallace took to Twitter to mock the blowback from his decision to rage-quit and, if it wasn't clear already, he made it known he wasn't taking any of this too seriously.

Unfortunately, one of Wallace's sponsors -- joint/muscle cream Blue-Emu -- didn't take too kindly to his flippant attitude and decided to pull their sponsorship.

No apologies, many of us feel the same way. The Presstitutes have earned it.

He’s operating according to the Kaepernick-SJW business model. Very similar the the George Costanza business model: whatever your first thought is, do the opposite.

Trust me. The SJW corporate managers would make sure Bubba had sponsorship if he qualified dead-last and posted a DNF for every race.

Partner, Kaepernick will not play in the NFL ever again.

U are so correct in that business model does not work very well when you are anti-American and we both know this is so true of Colin and now Bubba Wallace.

“He will lose all Sponsors! Let’s put it this way, he better lose all sponsorships!” Don’t bet on it. You’re underestimating the level of black ass kissing that white-run, virtue signaling, American corporation are capable of.

Partner, we agree that there will be a lot of black ass kissing on Main Street that American corporations are capable of doing with Bubba Wallace.

We all think Bubba Wallace is an Idiot!!!

He won’t because anyone who pulls sponsorship will immediately be labeled as racist.

Partner, We will be called racists for Bubba Wallace's behavior. This simply does not sound correct but yet it is the facts like you have mentioned.

Blacks are bigger racists than normal white folks.

"How do you like them apples?"

I’ll give you odds there will be a boycott against any sponsor who drops this lying racist.

Partner, this one really gets to everybody and Sponsors who drop this "Bubba Wallace" will be correct but we should not pay any attention to the MSM since they are so wrong on this one.

Some of these sponsors can not take the heat for not putting up the big $$$ for but they should drop this black guy Bubba Wallace.

>>He will lose all Sponsors! Let’s put it this way, he better lose all sponsorships! With corporate America giving billions to BLM that won’t be the case. But whoever steps in to sponsor his car should be noted and considered not a stock to invest in. Defund the Left

Partner, we agree on every statement that you have made and why in the world would these sponsors fund this guy Bubba Wallace.

Another Freeper has said "Sponsors love to kiss Bubba's Black Ass on Main Street."

We will see who is the first sponsor to do so.

I will say that "Tiger Woods" was making close to $130 Million a year or from sponsors but after the spat with his beautiful wife it went down dramatically to around $60 Million.

Of course, Tiger Woods is close to $100 Million a year in sponsors after winning the Masters Tournament.

*** Partner, Kaepernick will not play in the NFL ever again. ***

No argument.

The only people that think Kaepernick will play again are SJW’s that know nothing about football or can evaluate talent. Running QB’s in this league(as distinct from merely mobile QB’s) have about a 5 - 7 year career before they fall off due to injuries. Kaepernick had his career AND he hasn’t played going on 4 years. Even if he wasn’t dinged his chances of removing ‘the rust’ and being a starter would be nil.

Frankly, running QB’s out of college that have reasonable accuracy and arm strength can have a lot of early success. But time & again I see a young QB with a hot-hand run thru the NFL schedule for about 8 - 10 games before the league defenses catch up to him and scheme his game. Once that first team stops you, they ALL stop you. Game film. Then the injuries come. The arm strength fades. And the ‘accuracy’ which may have always been iffy never improved enough to compensate because they didn’t need it (beyond getting by the combine scouting process).

It’s like watching that flashy collegiate small forward who never develops a jump shot because 90% of the time he’s slashing to the hoop. Great. But you better develop your game because in the Pros they are very good at taking away the thing you do best.

Partner, this is one great analysis on the QB's in the NFL especially that QB's that sign on and they are great runners but once defenses figure this out then the QB on that team will be injured for say a season and that is it.

Coaches will not take a chance and pay the running QB the big money he once made after injuries.

Great analysis on QB's and basketball players.

We all know that Goodall wants Colin Kaepernick to play QB in the NFL well guess Mr. Roger Goodall will never get to see this idiot play one more down of professional football.
