Cross posting from a forum thread:

I think President Trump intends for the American public to reclaim their country.

If We The People push back on lockdowns and other abuses now, he can support our efforts using the power of the presidency.

Some of the moves he’d like to make right now against enemies in our government would be used by our enemies to claim he is a dictator, and they’d point to the silent majority in the public just waiting, watching. They’d say the President is acting on his own.

For example, corrupt governors and congress critters like Nancy Pelosi, some corrupt military and others in our government are baiting the president to “take action” against protesters so they can demand the U.N. intervene against a “rogue” president.

I believe President Trump wants We The People to use our voice, our own protests, to push back on lockdowns and other abuses. This would put him in an excellent position to use his office to support our efforts, as otherwise it would look like the president is stripping the states of their self-governance protected in the Constitution.

We out number the corrupt governors but we act like we don’t. If there is an attempt to steal the election (there will be) there may be a period of unrest. We would be in MUCH better position as patriots if WE had already broken lockdown and other oppressive actions by rogue governors/mayors.

This has to be be done from the ground up. We can’t always rely on a President Trump to come along and save us. After he leaves office, there may not be another, and as a free country, we’ll fall again unless we learn to stand on our own. Better to learn how to take back our country on his watch, then rely on him to remain in office for the rest of our lives, dependent on his protection.

I do believe the POTUS wants us to demonstrate our capacity to stand on our own two feet and push back on illegal, oppressive actions.

As we enter the final phases of The Storm, military planning demands that all options be covered, even the idea that we could be without our president at some point. If we have put the Deep Staters in their place, we will be in 188% better position to defend ourselves during that period of time than if we are under their boot. Think what the Deep State governors/mayors would do to a cowed public if President Trump were somehow removed. Now think what would happen if the public had taken control back. BETTER OUTCOME!

It's only natural to plan for all eventualities. Lawsuits and other ways to cut the abuses of power by the Governors/mayors; protests that practice social distancing; recall tallies (long before the elections) going up, up, up; call-in to the governor's office letting those lying thieves/dictators know just how we feel about them; demanding our freedom will put is in MUCH better position for the final phases of the storm, and for that day in the future when we KNOW president Trump will no longer be in office.

AnonTitle: Governors Are Not Immune to Lawsuits Arising Out of Willful or Negligent Disregard of State Laws

"The immunity of a state from suit has long been held not to extend to actions against state officials for damages arising out of willful and negligent disregard of state laws.165 The reach of the rule is evident in Scheuer v. Rhodes,166 in which the Court held that plaintiffs were not barred by the Eleventh Amendment or other immunity doctrines from suing the governor and other officials of a state alleging that they deprived plaintiffs of federal rights under color of state law and seeking damages, when it was clear that plaintiffs were seeking to impose individual and personal liability on the officials. There was no “executive immunity” from suit, the Court held; rather, the immunity of state officials is qualified and varies according to the scope of discretion and responsibilities of the particular office and the circumstances existing at the time the challenged action was taken."

Absolutely! When this started a friend asked how long governors could keep businesses and people locked down. I responded: until the people demand their freedom rights; it WILL be up to the people. Opening businesses one by one is useless. Local C of C business groups must lead for hundreds of businesses to open simultaneously; let the police arrest them by the thousands or step aside.

Individual patriotic businesses have opened and been crushed, scaring all the others to knuckle under. sad.
