The state better change it or this person who plays with a ball may take his temporary talent elsewhere.

Keep in mind, the new Mississippi State head coach is Mike Leach, who has been a staunch Trump supporter.

Why should the state of Mississippi have a flag featuring the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia?

The tipping point has been reached. OK State should have stood their ground, but alas they bent the knee to the mob. As far as MS changing it's flag, a bridge too far.

Gee, it seems if you’re so upset by the flag, that should have been something you investigated before you signed on kid. Not like this was a recent development.

Coming soon to Florida. Rumblings about ditching their flag, too.

The state of Mississippi held a fair and square referendum on the issue of the flag back in April of 2001. IIRC, the vote to retain the flag passed by a 2-1 margin or thereabouts.
No state should be held hostage by the demands of a single football player. If the legislature and governor decided, they can hold another referendum.
