Sorry but nothing less than a N-95 rated mask will not stop the Covid virus. The masks being worn by the public are useless
I’m betting that the Czech Republic and Slovakia don’t have many political authorities actively working to increase the spread to make the countries’ leaders look bad.
Of course we have more cases. We have more complete and accurate testing. Number of cases is an absolutely bogus metric.
Who cares? Hospitalizations are down, deaths are down.
The case fatality rate is about 5%, lowest in the world.
The situation is managed and it’s time to stop with the foolishness and remove the masks and act like Americans not sheep.

If everyone wears a mask transmission is greatly reduced because people keep their germs to themselves. Unfortunately it has become politically charged and the idiots look for any reason the can to walk around, self centered without one.
I would be interested to know how the timeline for the U.S. coincides (or not) with the current BLM/Anitfa riots.
