A student group at Rice University in Houston, Texas, is "demanding" the administration fund a "non-residential Black House" on campus, provide better ID photos, and remove a prominent statue of the university's founder -- and top student officials are deleting some comments disagreeing with those positions, Fox News has learned this week.

Oh, I could see this coming. Emboldened by spineless butt-kissing mayors, governors, university presidents and CEOs of companies, this was certainly coming. Those who made these DEMANDS need a facial remodel with a gauntletted hand. Just WHO, I would ask them, do you think you are? You pay your tuition, you're a student with the same rights as any other student. You want a black house? Transfer to Howard University, you ungrateful piece of garbage.

Many years ago, I remember a black woman complaining about how black people just didn’t look good in newspaper photos. This is when newspapers’ pictures were half-tone black and white. She was sure it was down to racism since the darker the skin tone, the poorer the photo looked.

I think overall....we might be at the point where all colleges (four-year type) need to shut down for two years. If they aren’t learning anything worthwhile...then the tuition money is just flushing down the toilet.

The BSA is requesting a “non-residential black house” Does their very specifically worded request mean that “residential black houses” already exist on the Rice campus?
