Everyone knows what everyone will admit on election night: Biden is too decrepit for the position he seeks, and that the election is essentially about making his running mate the President of the United States.
Then, will enough Democrat voters turn out to elect Kamala Harris, or Elizabeth Warren? They couldn’t beat Biden, never mind Trump. Forget Susan Rice, she has no energy, no detectable personality, and on the stump she would be the stump.
I do believe Biden’s best hope is a proven candidate who actually managed to get 65M votes, and who can say with a straight face that she could take the reins when (inevitably) a grim fate befalls the Doddering One.
It might even be a respectably close loss. But it’s all he’s got.
It's like the standard horror movie fare when the villain dies, but comes back once or twice more before he is finally gone.
My thoughts on this mirror yours, but time is a factor. The more time that passes without Her Heinous being pushed forward, the less likely it is to happen.
Also, remember this: The Clintons and the Obama faction are also rivals. Although they share many of the same inclinations, they won't share power gladly. I think at the moment that Joe is closer to the more recently in power and younger Obama faction. They've got the inside track on controlling that dummy.
