No doubt the President is clearly over the target in addressing the latest strategy of the democrats: Main-in-Voting. Even to the most reasonable person, full scale voting by mail is an attempt to legitimize both mail and vote fraud. Their excuse is due to a virus that is already on the decline, and no one knows what its status will be come November. We all know what this is really about: a lost voter base, and the inability to import enough illegal voters before the general election. The question is: how to defeat them?
As one who has worked as a ballot inspector for the past 4 years, there are actions that can be taken. Unfortunately, it will involve being more than a keyboard warrior, or someone who just watches from the sidelines. This is what the other side expects; for the Real American to follow the rules, waiting for their political party or the President himself to fight the epic battle for them. If/when they fail, we go back to the same complaining about the party that talks a good game, but when it comes to battle, only a few will stand and fight.
But this case is different. The opposition wants mail-in-voting because without it, and the vote fraud that follows, they lose – not just the White House & Congress, but possibly 2-3 members on the Supreme Court. However if they win using this scheme, you can kiss honest elections good-bye for this century (armed conflict not withstanding).
The solution requires Real Americans to become part of the action. This means more than just voting. In 2016, part of the reason we have the current President is because enough people were at the voting precincts keeping people honest; prepping the ballots, and counting them later. We will need that again – and more…
1. Vote ONLY at the voting place (military excluded).
In my state, there are books open on Election Day. As a voter approaches, they are required to provide their name, and a valid identification card (I know the latter is not the case in all states, but I digress). We then look for a matching name and address in our voting records for comparison. If found, we then cross out their name, and provide them with a token which they can then exchange for a ballot at the next table. This is how walk-in voters (the mass majority of who vote on Election Day) are handled.
Absentee ballots are a different matter: After sorting from the central office, they are distributed to their respective precincts and are checked against the same names of voters sitting in front of us. As an absentee ballot is counted, the name is crossed off in the same fashion. If say, a person walks in as their name has already been crossed off, they are not allowed to vote. Of course this has happened and the voter has challenged that decision. By the same fashion, if an absentee ballot is found where the voter has shown to have walked in and voted, the absentee vote is thrown out.
I can’t tell you how many times that has happened – just at my precinct alone.
By voting at the polling place, there is less chance of your vote being ‘thrown out’ because of discrepancy, or someone grabbing your mail-in-vote ballot (that you never may have received) and voting for you. So, show up. Take a day off if needed. Change your work schedule for Election week if needed. It’ll be worth it.
2. Become part of the election team at the voting place.
With votes being thrown out, just imagine what kind of nightmare you’ll have with everyone is the state being encouraged to mail-in-vote. Preventing massive attempts of fraud can be prevented by our side being IN THE ROOM when these actions are taking place.
In most cases around the country, they can never find enough people to fill these positions. It may be long hours, low pay, but worth it. For those who join, I cannot stress this enough: KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN WHEN THE BALLOTS ARE BEING COUNTED. Watch for people trying to send you elsewhere as the ballots are being accessed the end of the day. Also, don’t go home until ALL the ballots are counted from your precinct. When you get the final totals, make sure those are same number you see or hear when you get home. Again, the President and the RNC can’t do this for you. And your opposition expects you NOT to want to get involved. Showing up is more than half the battle. (note for those who sign up for this: make sure to share your experience with others on your favorite forums, blogs, etc.)
3. Challenge EVERY mail-in-vote.
This is probably the most important. In most cases, as an election worker or election monitor (look up the rules in your area), you reserve the right to challenge a questionable vote. The local, state and federal GOP election committees should make clear we WILL challenge EVERY non-military mail in vote.
No exceptions. Even GOP mail-in-votes.
Your basis for challenging the vote? Because there is no way to prove the person who filled out the ballot is actually the one that voted. Some may say this would be introducing chaos into the election. I say chaos would introduced with mail-in-voting.
Promising to challenge every one of those votes brings order to that chaos, and few will want or need to challenge a vote from a voter who actually showed up to vote. It’s called push back. It’s called ‘calling their bluff’. At the time of this writing, the scribes are grilling the White House Press Secretary about it, trying to take away every excuse not to have mail-in-voting. Action #3 gives the other side an excuse NOT to do it, if we make it clear what our response would be.
These are challenging times. But this is also a battle where we can’t sit on the sidelines waiting for someone fight the battle for us. Honestly we may not able to vote ourselves out of conflict we now face, but whatever may come, we must demonstrate that we were the right side of history when they write about us a hundred years from now. We know what our adversaries will try to do; they’ve all but telegraphed their punch, and even fielding an army of domestic terrorists as the tip of their sword. We must meet these battles on all fronts.
