It is peculiar that this case isn’t the catalyst that Floyd’s was... but I suppose it may just be the video in the Floyd case that makes the difference ...and location.

My cynicism is at an all time high these days, but for obvious and good reason:

If you consider that these riots and "protests" are not organic, but were instigated from the top down, then the question is, why was the Floyd incident used to instigate the rioting and not the Breonna incident?

Simply apply the axiom that these instigators will support whatever hurts the USA, and destroy whatever helps it, and you have your answer.

No-knock raids are and have always been a cancer on American society. They are blatantly unconstitutional and horrendously destructive the very idea of freedom of the individual. Therefore, the Soros-type a-holes naturally support it. They don't want to bring attention to this incident because it might lead to a positive reform of police policy, and they don't want things moving in a positive direction.

Meanwhile, some thug dies on the street in full view of everyone, providing the appearance of having been killed by a fairly brutal-looking police control tactic, and that incident not only has the optics for instigating riots, but was on full video to be played on Youtube.

You'll notice, however, that the reaction hasn't been to reform the way police control unruly suspects, but that RACISM is the cause of all this, and so the police, as a whole, must be hated, society as a whole must be hated and white people, as a whole must be hated and attacked.

All in all, the Floyd incident was far more useful for instigating civil unrest without actually pushing for any useful reform.

It’s the video. Regardless of the circumstances of a case where all you have is a description of events, you can’t match the visceral reaction of watching a man plead for his life for 8 minutes before he dies with an officer’s knee on his neck.

That will always touch more nerves more quickly and strongly. The officers in that video came off as callous and reckless. Floyd easily came off as am empathetic character. At trial, we’ll no doubt get some new information which may or may not change the reality of the situation around actual cause of death, but I still haven’t heard from a single sworn LEO anywhere that thinks it was a good idea to have a knee on a handcuffed and prone subject’s neck for any length of time, let alone 8 minutes.
