Well, Nikki shut down concealed weapon permits for three months. It took FL Attorney General and federal lawsuit to re-open the office last week.

Nikki Fried response to lawsuit:

“It has absolutely no impact on our operations, it has no impact
on our decision to open up,” Fried, the only statewide-elected
Democrat, said Thursday. “I certainly, as an attorney, do not
follow the whims of a frivolous lawsuit on our decisions and
policy making. We will vigorously defend our actions.”

Per her website today:
“All Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services offices are currently closed to the public until further notice.

The Division of Licensing’s Tallahassee Regional Office is open to the public effective Monday, June 15. All services will require an appointment.

The Department is working in collaboration with other state and local officials to ensure the safety of our employees and community.

We will update the public with further information as it becomes available. View COVID-19 Information.”

Gov. DeSantis needs to take concealed weapon permits away from her and give it to the Sheriff’s Department.
