We really need a like button
Sometimes I see a post and think, yeah, a like button would be good, but the site works better without one.
Right now, the internet is probably half bots. Forcing someone to actually respond to a comment instead of doing an automatic "like" cuts down on the bots.
I've also watched several message board type sites get destroyed when a specific group gets together and mass downvotes every comment until a user gets banned.
Like buttons and emojis allow people to scatter gun instead of forcing them to actually think and respond.
