Getting Back To The Spirit of '76

I'm trying to work on writing up the Q drops about Dem governors shoving Covid-19 patients into elder care homes (i.e. murdering the elderly). Digging through content and looking for graphics, I keep surfacing the same core problem.

It seems We The People have been domesticated by the Left. As conservatives we believe in small government, but the comments of distress on Twitter and elsewhere make calls to the federal government to control and manage the states on our behalf as if the Left's model of Big Government is needed to function.

We have lost the Spirit of '76.

The Left is using power originally given to us via State's Rights to abuse us. The idea behind State's Rights was that We The People would be obeyed by our state government and so our wishes would be done. But the Left is using the States as the Big Government "ruler" over us, as if we aren't competent enough to rule ourselves.

The Right seems to be waiting for the federal government to assume the ultimate power the Left always wanted to give it "to protect us". What happens if the federal government retains that power after President Trump leaves office?

Our primary obligation to rip public/financial/legal/social support out from under those who refuse to serve us is left untouched, as we wait for the federal government to save us. If Trump does try to "save us" now, the states, the MSM etc. abusing us can say he does not represent the will of the people as expressed to our state representatives, officials etc. Those bad actors will be saying it to the U.N.

I think I glimpse the attitude that will lead us out of the fake reality we're living in, where facts doesn't matter, only the Dems interpretation of it is allowed to rule, in the post by magglepuss regarding families not permitted to visit elderly parents in care homes:

I think most have realized by now how foolish this all is. The nursing home staff, includes cooks, dishwashers, floor cleaners, nurses, dr. , laundry detail, etc. They are all free to come and go, but visitors put folks at risk? yeah right. Who knows where these workers were between shifts.

I say just go visit and tell them to pound sand. If they threaten to arrest, then we will know to stop supporting the folks threatening to arrest.~magglepuss

The compliance we're engaging in is largely voluntary. Lately I've been thinking that the Covid-19 lockdowns remind me of horse training, wherein by slow degrees an untamed horse is taught to tolerate first the halter, then ropes, then being lead with ropes, then a bridle, then a saddle pad, then an empty saddle, then a saddle with partial weight, and then a life under saddle.

We must get the Spirit of '76 back if we are to save ourselves.

ThankQ MqD !

A question to ask would be:

How many families* went and got their elder(s) out of the nursing home(s) when this virus started hitting the US?

What did they encounter when they went there (*assumption here is the family rep with full power of attorney went there).

Thank you ransomnote you are always so motivational and well spoken. I really like your “Getting Back To The Spirit of’76” idea.

I know a lot of businesses that start to struggle will go back to basics to capture what made them successful in the first place. In New York City, Giuliani, did exactly that to turn the city around.

One of the things I’ve noticed is that there were certain things we all used to know, but for some reason either have forgotten or ignore. Stuff like:

There is no such thing as just following orders. (this really applies to police arresting salon owners, barbers, beach goers).

If the sign says, no swimming in lake, you don’t swim. If you then see a drowning dog, and you can swim, you get in the lake and save it.

You don’t need to show paperwork to anyone, unless you are reasonably suspected of committing a crime.

I disagree with what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

I know there are so many more. Please all feel free to add, and lets start remembering the American spirit.

YES!

Just as with "rightly dividing the Word of God," we must remember to rightly divide the laws of Liberty upon which we're founded! All this haste for President Trump to "do something" is misplaced. I am more than aware that some states are controlled by socialist, marxists, dictating rats. But the laws pertaining to anarchy in those states are under state jurisdiction and have to be addressed there.

I do see reports of Federal officials addressing federal crimes in these areas but the public outcry needs to be focused toward those state authorities. We have to rise up and address these crimes under Constitutional authority and not allow the rats the federal control they have been fighting to take!

I would like to know what sort of rising up do you think would be effective and practicable. I know that there were many protests in CA and I think some other states about the lockdown, they seem to have petered out. Maybe nany people are refusing to wear masks but since it isn’t a mass thing all at once, no one knows about it? I’m sort of at a loss trying to figure out what kind of mass uprising you mean.

THe Tea Party mass event in DC was a good example of rising up, of course it didn’t do any good as 0bola was the tyrant at that time. And there was another such event I was thinking of but can’t remember at the moment. Do you mean taking to the streets in some way? Or things like going into nursing homes and taking the elderly out? I’m not being snarky at all, I just would like to discuss this more because I’m very unclear on what sort of methods you have in mind.

People are educating others feverishly, and that seems to be increasing tremendously.

PS - another thought; maybe any anons who post on eight kun could ask Q that question - what kind of action should we take? I remember from not long ago, that music video about watching, “it’s happening”. Remember that?

I think plenty of people would like to “Do Something” to further this cause but what? How to act? Public gatherings with speakers? That sounds really good to me.
