If the son or daughter is working full time and they can’t care for the parent at home, no they just can’t go get them. Sometimes people, like us, don’t have the money to have 3 full time caregivers.
If the parent has AD, many of them go through a phase where they are angry or violent and cannot keep them at home. Or they figure a way out and wander
It seriously is a nightmare. It’s exhausting and sometimes we need help or a break. And each situation is different.
