Why do you even have liberal friends at this point? Your liberal “friend” wants to subjugate you, rule over you take your freedoms and enslave you.
I have a lifelong friend who recently decided to announce that he was a Democrat, which was no real surprise to me, since he was always a go-along-to-get-along kind of guy. He’s the kind of guy who watches TV all the time and believes every single thing they tell him. However, up until this announcement, he had been officially non-political. He’s not a angry-march-in-the-streets person. He’s just more of a if-I-agree-to-be-woke-the-cool-kids-will-like-me person.
When the fecal matter hits the fan, as it seems very close to doing, this guy will not be spared by the leftists. Nor will his family. I know this, but he doesn’t. He just think he’s finally sitting at the cool kids’ table.
What do I do about naive people like this who don’t have the slightest clue of the shark-infested waters that they are swimming in? These people are putting on the brown shirts because everyone says brown shirts are cool. They don’t have the desire to subjugate anyone, but they are too naive and blind to see that the ideology they are supporting does. What to do, what to do.
I agree. We are in a civil war but only one side is fighting.
