LOS ANGELES (AP) - “That ’70s Show” actor Danny Masterson was charged with the rapes of three women in the early 2000s, Los Angeles prosecutors said Wednesday, the culmination of a three-year investigation that resulted in a rare arrest of a famous Hollywood figure in the #MeToo era.
The three counts of rape by force or fear against Masterson were filed Tuesday, and an arrest warrant isssued. Masterson, 44, was arrested late Wednesday morning, jail records showed. He was released a few hours later after posting bond and is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 18.

IMO That 70’s Show was brilliantly cast. I had friends in school who were exactly like each of those characters.
I always felt that way about Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

That’s unreal. I would imagine it’s like a lottery win though? Getting cast and then the show becoming a huge hit? At least that’s how I heard how Jerry Seinfeld got rich, but holy cow a million a show. And these celebrities lecture us on politics.

The Big Bang Theory folks made a million an episode, and Charlie Sheen was banking 2 million per for Anger Management after they hit a certain episode count. Part of the reason that shows are going to shorter seasons and shorter runs is to give the above-the-line people less negotiating power. Cheaper to make three shows that run three years than one show that runs 9 years.
