Legally, I wouldn’t, but I think you’d just need to change your DNS zones records to redirect to CNN’s. You wouldn’t do it at the TLD level though because that wouldn’t take effect fast enough.

The clever thing about your trick is that you’d be forcing all of the attacker’s traffic into CNN. Though I suspect CNN’s site has a larger bandwidth capactity than OANs

Maybe there's a more deserving target for a re-directed DDoS attack, since it's likely always coming from extremist leftists, maybe the BLM website, or the clinton foundation, or Soros' open society, or some other favored leftist online presence.
