Well, yes; and thank you...When I mentioned “burning” (another simpler term meaning rapid oxidation), I sorta covered that...

I anneal a lot of copper in a gas forge with a reducing atmosphere (gas rich), and still notice a blue green flame...I suppose it might be copper dust residue on cut pieces burning off...

Regardless, a beautiful fireball!
