You are mistaken, perhaps reading faux history. The cloth was made long before firearms and the Portuguese slavers arrived, or even had a black seen a white person. Maybe someone made the association later- slavery was not what it meant and not means today.

Just stop the hating - or you’ll begin to look like the people u despise.
