Here's the Miami Herald's account of the embarrassment: The 10 members of the Hallandale Beach Police Department’s SWAT team have stepped down from their roles, citing among other grievances anger over the city’s police chief kneeling with protesters earlier this week, a memo the officers signed read. They will remain with the police department.

So there umbrage only goes so far. They didn't quit entirely just from part of their duties. So why does a suburb with a population of 37,000 need a SWAT team for anyway?

Considering it’s not far from Miami, I’m sure there’s plenty of action there.
