The CEO of Carnival Cruise Line recently said in an interview that he doesnt know when the cruise line will sail again.
According to Cruise Critic, Carnival CEO Arnold Donald said there was a communication sent out erroneously that said voyages would resume on August 1. Donald told the website in an exclusive interview that he doesnt know when well sail again.
While the press release claimed eight ships would begin sailing from the ports of Galveston, Miami and Port Canaveral, Donald revealed the message was not a pronouncement that we are coming back on August 1. Donald said the false announcement proved to be one of the most insightful mistakes we've ever made, since it caused bookings to skyrocket, signifying many travelers are ready to sail as soon as voyages recommence.

Still...ON. If it were a September cruise I would be worried but this cruise isn't until all the way in December. BTW, I have also been following the coronavirus death stats carefully and they are steadily declining. By September they should definitely be below 100 daily in the USA.
It's definitely...ON. Remember, it isn't until December. The upside is that the cost of this cruise has gone down TREMENDOUSLY. Ian the Cruise guy told me last year that the cost hadn't been set yet since he was negotiating the group rate at the time. Okay, so in my mind I had a high and low estimate of what that could be. It turned out that the cost (due to the coronavirus) ended up waaaaaay below my most optimistic low estimate for what it could be. A great opportunity to sail on a luxury cruise for a really low cost.
Keep the Trump 2020 Victory Cruise in mind. It will be aboard the Celebrity Edge, the most luxurious ship of the line. Embarking for Eastern Caribbean from Port Everglades on December 6. Seven nights.
