Its not the skin color I dont want in my neighborhood.
Its the crime, violence, noise, unkempt property, etc.
Leave me alone, be respectful, clean neighbors, and no problem. Whatever your skin color.
“Leave me alone, be respectful, clean neighbors, and no problem. Whatever your skin color.”
Unfortunately there is a correlation between certain human traits and race. It isn’t just color of skin. There are many asian indians that are darker than most blacks, but they have done very well in the US. Most of them come from the upper castes of India and are quite smart. No discrimination against them as a group, or if there is it’s positive.
And yes there are plenty of American blacks that are smart, but they tend to be outliers, and it is the masses, the two sigmas around the average that impact society and that create the prevailing reputation of any easily identifiable groups of people.
So when you say leave me alone and be respectful and be clean and no crime, that is fine, but this country is such that we don’t get to pick our neighbors or who we work with. Remember we are forbidden to discriminate under penalty of law. Therein lies the problem. If we had true freedom of association this country would be split along racial lines, just like it used to be before the civil rights act.
Even today there is “white flight”, though it is harder and harder to do.
The racial mess we’re in is only going to get worse. The reality is that blacks and whites have never been able to peacefully coexist together anywhere in the world. (There is a very understandable reason for that). Until that reality is accepted by whites, and that no amount of self-flagellation, reparations, caving to every black demand is going to change it (in fact it will make it worse), whites will continue to debase and guilt themselves into a quivering mush of flesh in their own country - like whipped dogs.
The solution is separation. Let whites and blacks have their own separate country. It’s best for both. And there could also be a third country for people who like to be mixed. That is true freedom of association.
But there isn’t one single politician that dares to go there. Although Lincoln himself was pushing for such a solution.
