the very name, Africa, came from white Europeans (Romans I think, but same thing).

Renaming all the states that once had legal chattel slavery within their borders would leave only a couple of states in the Northwest and maybe the upper New England states. New York had slaves up pretty close to the War Between the States. They were most or all household slaves but they were of African heritage just like the plantation slaves in the South. All states with more than a few Moslem inhabitants also have slaves though not legally, especially among the more affluent of those born outside of the USA.
