Maybe he’ll notice some retired general officers who are now using Twitter to violate the UCMJ on a regular basis and do something about it. Like get them recalled to active duty and court-martialed.
Start with Gen. Michael Hayden, one of his predecessors at NSA, who tweeted recently: “The president was at West Point today. Benedict Arnold once was the commander. I was surprised Trump didnt rename it in Arnolds honor.”
That right there is a violation. But he does it all the time because he knows he’s above the law.
Will anyone have the balls to show him otherwise?
Doubtful.
I’ll just tag this to my previous post, as it’s worth watching. Two questions addressed by retired General Jack Keane: 1) His thoughts on renaming military bases named after confederate generals (he’s a former commander of Ft. Bragg), and 2) a very succinct explanation of the situaton General Milley got caught in and why his apology was necessary and appropriate:

For those not willing to watch but who still have doubts about Milley, be advised that he has spoken privately wiht President Trump and apologized for putting him (Potus) in a situation he should not have been put in. Leading by example includes recognizing when you’ve made a mistake and owning it.
