Any chance of getting a quick summary of this?

Sorry I don’t have time, but the following post I made about the letter POTUS sent to Congress about this EO, and then the next White House Secretary post I’m making, both put this in English. :)

The ICC has made some noises about trying to investigate Trump and others for civil rights abuses and they just want to be able to walk in or take them without US due process under the guise of some assumed international moral and legal penumbra countenanced by the EU. They also are on record of wanting to try to arrest or allow “citizens’ arrests” of said individuals when certain US VIP’s are abroad...say at a G7 meeting.

Trump must have some particular situations in mind but isn’t saying. Obama had allowed ICC and Interpol officers working for them to operate within the country but he couldn’t get a full treaty thru congress that allowed it and outright arrests were still not allowed without due process.

Trump is reversing such policies especially over noises from BLM and others asking for foreign intervention into our affairs. He is trying to get ahead of that quickly.

The above is my humble opinion only...I’m open to more facts and corrections.

The confiscation of property and the blocking of funds is an interesting twist; it must be that such ICC officials have substantial funds and property holding in the US and it threatens any US entities (read liberal socialist groups like Antifa) with same. It’s like Trump is applying civil asset forfeiture to groups who attempt to violate the civil rights and due process of US citizens at home and abroad as well as attempts by overseas interests that try to violate US sovereignty.
