” Chinese eat an average of 30kg of pork a year per person,”

That's about 66 pounds per person/year or a little over 5 pounds a month.

I eat more than that at just breakfast between bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon and ham that's a little over a pound a week.

Throw in pork loin, chops, roasts and fat back and I at least double that amount.

With that said, I lost over 25 pounds since last June and am now down to my Army (20 ish years old) weight and that was over 50 years ago.

I do love pork, maybe I'm a Chinese from Sicily.

Oh hell, I love all good food, red meat, fish or fowl and almost all veggies, pastas and grains.

“I do love pork, maybe I’m a Chinese from Sicily.”

The old question, if you were trapped on the island with only one cuisine?

Chinese and Italian are usually the first choices.

I’m getting hungry...
