When I read people, including some FReepers, writing that there is no such thing as race, there is only one human race, I despair. Biologically there are some groups of animals that show marked physical similarities and others that are not so similar. Biological description was brought to a type of science in the 17th century. If it is time to revisit it, it is not the time to throw the baby out with the bathwater and declare that everyone is highly similar except for a few trivial characteristics. Simple observation, which is the foundation of science, shows that this is not the case.
