Everything the public needs to know is banned.

How do you find out about it if it's banned?

Do you have an illegal news source?

The significance is not about what I can learn by using unconventional news sources. The significance is that the public is being interdicted from important knowledge because their dominant sources of news deliberately exclude this knowledge.

They aren't acting as "news" services, which I believe they were required to do under the Communications Act of 1934. They are acting like political agencies with an agenda to manipulate elections by with holding information detrimental to their ideology and their candidates.

Seems like it ought to be an FEC issue as well as a communications issue.

Not illegal yet, but I keep seeing sources getting banned. I know certain opinion is illegal in foreign countries, and of course our "private" corporations are all too happy to use their "private property rights" to censor opinion the Chinese or the Germans or the British don't like.

They act as proxies for foreign governments, and I have no doubt whatsoever that if Obama was in power and asked them to do some censoring, they would be all too happy to comply.
