How long do you think it will take Tesla to alter their software to make this hack obsolete? While current users would be fine, new buyers won’t be able to activate the hack.

As long as they are engaging in this business practice, there will just be another hack.

So either Tesla keeps trying this strategy and keep losing money on it, or they come up with a better business practice. Either way, it’s a win for the consumer.

It is said, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Did they spell ‘TESLA’ correctly?

Also, they may want to totally crush any poachers in a very public way?

The farmers have been fighting similar problems for years, with equipment manufacturers requiring factory service for minor work.
