The money doesn’t originate with celebrities. The celebrities are used to pass the money and they receive a cut.
Understand that ‘celebrities’ live on expense accounts they are not able to sustain, most of them. They have a few hits and then they easily become has-beens but they still have all the expenses.
So they are very easy to manipulate when money is pushed in front of them and all they need do is use their celebrity status to pass the money to its destination.
It’s money laundering.
Celebrities are never asked “where’d you get so much money?”. Why of course, they have millions and millions more in royalties NOT.
It doesn’t work that way. The royalties dry up and the once hot stars fall into yesteryear status.
