McCarthy plays ball now because he’s not entirely stupid. Every once in a while he’ll say or do something stupid like this to show his true colors. But make no mistake about it, McCarthy knows who’s going to win and who is going to lose. He’s controlled. He’ll get a call and change his tune or let it die out. Wait for it.

I think guys like him also continue to dive into derpiness at times to try to show they are not flipfloppers. But since they are in fact, it doesn’t work.
