Weekly counts of deaths by age group are presented. Trends are shown for 2015-2019 and 2020.
Weekly counts of deaths due to select causes of death are presented. Trends are shown for 2015-2019 and 2020.
Total numbers of deaths above average levels since 2/1/2020 are shown for select causes of death.
So the data are crunched to include 2015-19, but only shown Apr ‘17 thru Apr ‘20. As I recall from a couple of weeks ago, someone tallied data from deaths per month over the last 6 years. The current year was not sig different than average (2% above ave) but less than the data from the 15-16 year. I cannot find the source data at cdc, uufortunately.
