A new Morning Consult poll shows that 58% of registered voters support using the military with city police forces to address the “protests and demonstrations” that have erupted because of the death of George Floyd.
In the survey, conducted May 31–June 1, Morning Consult asked, “Would you support or oppose cities taking the following measures to address protests and demonstrations in dozens of U.S. cities in response to the death of George Floyd? Calling in the U.S. military to supplement city police forces.”
Among registered voters, 33% said they “strongly support” the idea and another 25% said they “somewhat support” the idea. That’s a 58% majority of support.
Among Baby Boomers, a combined 67% said they either “strongly support” or “somewhat support” using the military with local police to better control the protests.
However, a combined 40% of liberal ideologues said they support the idea while a combined 75% of conservative ideologues said they support it. …

Too low. Very easy to manipulate future poll numbers to put it less than 50%.
The Insurrection Act has been used 19 times by 12 different presidents, from Jefferson to GW Bush.
More people support law and order than chaos. The more Democrats insist on limiting what the police can do (including defunding the police), the worse position Joe Biden will be in.

Despite the left of center lamestream medias attempt to portray these riots as being ‘popular’, most people are appalled and angry about their streets being turned into a free for all looting gallery.
The ‘silent majority’ will express their opinions at the voting booth.

Ideologue definition is - an often blindly partisan advocate or adherent of a particular ideology
So those polled were not average registered voters of either party rather “liberal Ideologues” and “conservative Ideologues”
It’s not against protesters but against the rioters and lawless activities.
The news (all news) have managed to conflate protester and rioters as interchangeable.
I would vote no to use military against protesters but yes (overwhelmingly) against the lawless forces of Antifa and rioters and looters.
