One cannot make a proper analysis until one has reached a certain 'expertise' in a subject or group of inter-related subjects. Analysis is the ability to see the over-arching truth of a set of circumstances.

I would not deign to make a final analysis without first at least believing that I had the proper 'expertise' to make that analysis.

There are also preliminary analyses, which can be put forth with only partial information. There is less surety in a preliminary analysis, and it can be subject to change, pending new information.

It would be a serious tactical mistake if the protestors over-ran the White House. I think their game is to cause a violent reaction and run up a death toll. So that being the case I’m not sure how the patriot presence would play out, it might not make much difference if some element of the defenders in place came into contact with some part of the protest movement and a fire fight erupted. Also what if the defenders in place don’t want the assistance and fighting erupts between two sets of “good guys” ?

Not sure this is a good suggestion, as long as the President and his team remain safe, losing the White House (temporarily, one would assume) might not be a bad thing overall.
