Civil rights icon John Lewis said Thursday that the video of George Floyds death at the hands of police in Minnesota made me cry.
I kept saying to myself: How many more? How many young black men will be murdered? said Lewis, D-Ga.
It made me so sad. It was so painful, Lewis told CBS This Morning. It made me cry.
Lewis said he was encouraged to see such diverse crowds protesting Floyds killing, seeking the arrests of the police officers involved and demanding an end to racial injustice. [ ]
He urged protesters seeking justice in Floyds killing to embrace nonviolence and called on President Donald Trump not to crack down on orderly, peaceful, nonviolent protests.
You cannot stop the call of history, Lewis said.
Lewis quoted Martin Luther King Jr.: Hate is too heavy a burden to bear. The way of love is a much better way.

I have absolutely no doubt now that this entire video because its set up
Someone should force his lying ass to watch the video of the poor white boy murdered trying to protect his business from black looters. This assholes hands are so bloody.
boohoo, who cares.
Why don’t stores like Target, Walmart, and other protest supporters just open their doors and give everything away every time a black criminal is killed by a policeman. It would save so much time and effort breaking glass and starting fires.
Remind me again how many blacks were “murdered” last year by the police....how many in 2020? Mofos is delusional race baiting whores.
I post this at just about every mention of that lowlife. I heard him on a local black radio station on Election Day one year claiming if blacks didnt get out and elect blacks to the Atlanta city council, white republicans would turn fire hoses on them and sic dogs on them. John Lewis is a lying piece of dirt. I have no respect for him.
Lewis said...”the way of love is a much better way”. How does that relate to the looting & rioting?
John Lewis is a big FAT RACIST!
