I hope you're right. I'm only going by the word of two reporters i heard. Which both are "usually" correct. Both using "their source" which means nothing to me.

The unusual something is the possible use of the Insurrection Act. 28 years since the last time. I think Gen Milley and Q's exhortation on 'oaths', is a reminder more to public servants than troops. Although, I once had a young Marine tell me he thought he had 'off time' from the Corps. So it is possible that younger folks may not get it the same way that the SecDef (appears not to) thinks his opinion in the public square matters. When it comes to legal orders, your personal opinion doesn't mean squat.
