Who woulda known that a dry clutch transmission is not a good idea? No matter how well designed there will soon be issues. The small potential fuel savings will never be worth the issues that sooner or later will crop up.

Not that I will ever have to worry about this. I do not own nor will I ever own any of these little grocery-getter gas sippers. My next vehicle will be a 2022 C8 Corvette.

Uh, there are millions of dry clutch transmissions out there. Most manual transmission cars have dry clutches. Chances are every car you’ve ever been in that had a manual transmission, had a dry clutch.

It's those God-forsaken CAFE standards driving this garbage. Implemented during the Carter Administration, and given teeth by Obama, they were headed to the trashheap when Scotty Pruitt was running the EPA until Trump forced his resignation.

I will never in a million years understand some of the people Trump has fired, and others he has retained.
