Joe Biden said Monday that police -- if facing a threat from a person with "a knife or something" -- should be trained to “shoot ‘em in the leg instead of the heart,” amid five straight days of protest following the death of George Floyd.
“Instead of standing there and teaching a cop when there’s an unarmed person coming at ‘em with a knife or something, shoot ‘em in the leg instead of in the heart,” Biden said in an address to black community leaders in Wilmington, Del. (Emphasis added.)

Also clear he never had any military training. First thing the Army teaches is always aim for center mass of the enemy.
I am compelled to reply. As a Christian I have seen past documented videos where police officers unloaded on a criminal that was absolutely no threat, out of range, shot only because they had a knife in their hand. Police training and use of deadly force does need to be rethought. I witnessed an incident where a woman was stopped at a gate ( I will not disclose the company or location), who stated she was going to kill her husband at work. She had a handgun on the dash, sitting behind the wheel, was distraught, crying, shaking....when police arrived they surrounded the vehicle, she rolled up her Windows, they kept shouting to get out of the car, she did not ( probably could not hear), she then reached for the handgun and once her hand touched the gun, ( not even picked up), they fired off a dozen-18 shots killing her. NOT JUSTIFIED. She was absolutely no threat sitting in a car with the windows rolled up! Could have been handled much differently. Comments: we need more Christians in the police forces. God truly will guide believers that are put into harms way while performing the dangerous job of law enforcement. I will also add I have known many LEO’s , a few dirty, very dirty. It was easy to pick out the God fearing and righteous ones.Enough said.
