I’ve got an old friend who’s just become a reflexive never Trumper. He was whining how this was not a strong statement because he was protected by Secret Service.
I replied that I know the hatred he holds in his heart toward Trump and that this was truly a power move. POTUS generally goes nowhere in public. Especially during riots.
I’m looking forward to his tweeted response questioning my Christianity as if the proper Christian response is to despise the President.
yep, just checked. He didn’t question me but suggested that POTUS should have gone to the fence to meet with the protestors. Yea.
