Ah, yes, Veteran Of The Psychic Wars! Great, great tune!!

I was lucky enough to see BOC twice - once at a big venue in St. Louis (opened for Uriah Heep), and once in a largish bar in, of all places, Paducah, KY. (I was working nearby).

Dang, they were LOUD in that smaller venue. Luckily I’d bought some of those musician’s earplugs that cut back the volume without completely destroying the sound quality.

Even tho’ it’s far from my favorite BOC tune, when they got to “Godzilla”, THAT was nuts. People were literally flying around sideways in front of me! Well, ok, jumping, but I’ve never seen anything quite like it. It was like watching human popcorn.

I wouldn’t blame DT if HE cranked up Veteran Of The Psychic Wars tonight! He must be thinking “Holy Crap, I thought I was signing up to fix the economy and get us out of some messes overseas...”
