You sure about that? Two devices affected here:

iPad Air 2 Cellular 128G.
iPad Mini Cellular, 128G.

Repeated without improvement:
Kill all apps, including Twitter App.
Power off device.
Power back on.
Launch Twitter.
Go directly to one of my previous tweets.
Try to highlight something.
Not press and hold, double tap, nothing brings the blue box.

How about you, Melian? Same story?

Could be your device and maybe the Twit app needs an update. Try Twit in Safari while logged in and see what happens.

This happened to me on the iPhone QDrop app. One day I was able to copy and paste and then I wasn’t. And we all know there were no updates for the QDrop iPhone version.

Yes, my iPad is affected. But I can copy and paste in Twitter on my iPhone!
So odd.
