Well, it finally happened. I was assaulted by the mask police in the middle of the pickle and dressing aisle of my grocery this aafternoon. Little OLD lady bout 5 foot tall, stands firm, hands on hips and says “PUT YOUR MASK ON!!!” I kindly reply, relax lady, to which she then adds the foot tapping hands on hips stance and says ‘Do I have to go get a manager?”
<y first inklying is to day, no, but you need to go buy a laxative cause I can see you are Full of CHIT!!”
OK, now my rationale....mind you I have inly been a trauma nurse for a little over 45 years, but that said....it is currently 93 degrees outside with BWEY high humidity. add to that, the NATURAL hypoxia that can occur when wearing a mask, ergo, I choose to have it “at the ready” but not covering my face, when I start to feel a bit oxygen deprived. So I guess its either me fainting and looking like a chicken on the aisle floor, OR, mind your own business, lady, and I will take care of my own breathing, thank you.
The MEAN me was tempted to put my hands on my hips, stand firm and say “Dont make me have to cough on you, lady!!”
it all ended well. I got groceries and my mask is now firmly packed in my purse :-)

That’s great! The only one I have seen is that couple that are facing legal actions after defending their home. White liberal couple. I’m kind of hoping they’ll vote for Trump after this.
The only thing I see that people can easily do without fear of consequences in liberal states is move. But that would really mess things up politically, that would give the left actually more votes in Congress. But I know a lot of people have the idea because East Tennessee is booming. Lots of retirees moving in and our realtor said most tell him it’s because they don’t like the politics where they came from.
Judy’s right, we all need to do something! I just don’t know what for myself. There’s no protests to counter here. Any and all ideas are welcome!
You’re right, protecting The Monuments is a great idea. They don’t have any protests here for me to counter, but maybe I can find somewhere where a good group is getting together and I can join.
I was thinking the same thing, why are people passively letting these vermin destroy their homes. And threaten their very lives. I kept saying that I can’t wait for them to come here. They would meet something entirely different. People are armed just going to Walmart!
It’s likely in the liberal states people know they will be vilified and probably arrested if they do anything to protect themselves. They’ve lived there long enough to know what they can and can’t get away with. That’s all I can think of.
