Yes, that “study” (which they don’t link to, conveniently) does claim that “use of police force” is the 6th cause of death for you black men. But “use of police force” could be 1% of total deaths, 0.1%, 0.01% - who knows. Just saying it’s 6th means nothing.
Also the study says that black men are 2.5 times as likely to be killed by police than white men. I’m actually surprised it’s not higher. They do go to jail much more often, and are convicted of more crimes, etc. Not surprising that they are killed by police more often.
So I reckon crashing that SUV you just carjacked into a tree is attibuted to “use of police force” by throwing the lights at ‘em... it’s like having a 6-pack in a grocery bag in the back seat makes it an “alcohol-involved accident.” Not buying it.
