In college I had to take an art class. The professor was talking about this guy and I said Something like this is just weird, And I don’t get it. The professor said, “It’s art!” To which most of the class dutifully shook their heads and agreed.
Sorry, no, it’s weird.
To come up with the ideas is weird. Normal people would just figure, “Wow, that’s kind of wacky.”
To actually work so hard to make them reality takes it to another level.
I guess I’m just too right brain dominant to have much appreciation for his works.
Give me a nice painting, sculpture, or pottery. Even a well done photograph is art I can appreciate.
