I’d like to believe this is true, but I had the displeasure yesterday of talking at length with two 30-something highly educated affluent suburban white women. (Both family members.) They really do believe that this is all Trump’s fault, that the looting and burning is being instigated by white supremacist agent provocateurs trying to make the protestors look bad, and yet at the same time they believe that the plight of the poor inner city blacks is so bad that it *justifies* any looting or burning that a black person might appear to be seen as doing.
Pretzel logic. I found it impossible to reason with either of them, because they’re both so highly maleducated that they’re capable of believing two diametrically opposed things at the same time and incapable of plain *reason*.
These highly educated folks don’t have a clue what the US Constitution says about how government is suppose to operate.
The police union, police chief and mayor of MPLS are specifically responsible for George Floyd’s death. They need held accountable.
